Segments logs more than 6' in diameter into precision 12" X 12" cants up to 20' in length at the stump.  The cants are easy to weigh maximizing yeild when extracting from stump sites in difficult to log and ecologicaly sensitive forests.  Selective resawing of the cants can result in edge or flat grain for high added value lumber recovery.
